I began singing when I was very young, influenced by my father. Music has and always will have a huge impact on my life.....um...and my death. It's in my heart, even though it stopped beating. My first time actually performing in front of people was around age 16 when I started going to karaoke. At around 19, I started my own karaoke company. Up until that time, a lot of the music I sang consisted of simple 50s and 60s, country, and some light pop which was basically all I listened to in those days. However, my brother Rob listened to rock and metal and I would have to say it was him who influenced my love and passion for that style of music. The first band I was really moved by would have to be Creed. I listened to Creed obsessivly back in those days and they still are one of my favorites. Other than Creed, I got really hooked on Sevendust and Disturbed and it was from those singers whom I adapted a new style of singing. I started experimenting with different screams and growls and for some reason, it came very natural to me. From that point on, it was very clear that this was the style of singing I wanted to do! After a few years of that, I joined my first band called Hairy Baby. We played several shows around the metro for about 3 years until my brother and I were finally able to turn ours and our father's dream into reality with Rising. Something in the works for many years. Rising was created in honor of our father who had passed away several years prior. We rocked the cities for about 3 and a half years all the way up until our deaths on January 1st 2012 when we were in a fatal van accident thanks to me!!!!! After all, it was my premonition and I figured that if it was really going to happen that night, there was nothing we could do to stop it!!! We remained buried for a few days until we decided to ditch the afterlife and come back. I am now a zombie still doing what I love. Being a zombie is awesome. No pulse, no sicknesses, no consequences and all the people I can eat. Our new and improved show is insane and unpredictable!!! If you haven't seen us yet, you're missing out on something awesome so come and see us....just don't upset us or we will rip you open with our bare hands and eat all your internal organs. ;)
