09/29/12 - Lot's of news to fill you all in on, check back soon for all the updates!!!

01/28/12 - Well last night, Dead Rising crawled back out of their graves for yet another show. This time they hit Neisen's in Savage. Another crazy, shocking night with these 5 zombies! Blood was squirting everywhere and thank god, they didn't kill anyone....that we know of! Special thanks to Whither The Tide for opening the night with an amazing performance as usual. Dead Rising looked even worse than last time, I guess over time, that's bound to happen for these walking corpses!! Well, we won't being seeing them now until February 24th when they plan to come back again to destroy the bar they played their last show at before they died....Dean's in Maplewood! Anything goes with these zombies so get your asses there so you don't miss anything....or they will find you!!!!!!!!

01/14/12 - HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!! Rising is back from the Dead! Last night at The Pickle Park, "Rising" emerged from the Dead and put on one hell of a show now as......"Dead Rising!!" First, Stitch kicked things off with an amazing show and then 4 mystery musicians hit the stage claiming to be Dead Rising until shortly after, the 5 members of Rising (now as zombies), hit the stage and didn't waste a moment to clear the stage of the 4 imposters. Then, gave us probably the best show they've ever given. Lot's of surprising new re-makes and of course, their first original "Inevitable." Not to mention, they killed an annoying member of the crowd by ripping his stomach open and eating his intestines!! Rising is definately back....and their hungry for fans!!! Their next live performace will be January 27th at Neisen's in Savage! You never know what they have up their sleeve!! Get your asses there, your life may just depend on it!!

01/04/12 - Today, the bodies of all members in Rising have been laid to rest.........R.I.P.

01/01/12 - We are very sad to announce that after Rising's final show last night at Dean's, their premonition that they have been talking about for weeks came true!!!!! While on their way to their practice space for an after party, followed by a few fans, Rising took a turn too fast and ended up in a nasty rollover that took their lives! Rising have been trying to tell us about this for awhile and unfortunately, it has come true! We pray for the families of Rob, Tommy, Mike, Max and Alyssa...may they rest in peace! Thank you for rockin' the the Twin Cities for the last 4 years! You all will be greatly missed...........

12/18/11 - Last night we hit Neisen's for the last time! The first club we ever played at! It was nice to see all our fans supporting us! Nice big crowd! We hope our Savage/Burnsville fans enjoyed Rising's first original "Inevitable". Thanks to all who came out, "Q The Clique" for opening for us and to all the staff at Neisen's for having Rising out one last time!! Kind of sad to think we only have 1 show left! We really hope everybody makes it out to Dean's on New Year's for Rising's last show! This is it, after the show we supposedly die so keep your fingers crossed! We'll see everybody then!

12/03/11 - Well fans, last night was our last time playing at Froggy's in Pine City! Thanks to Stitch for jammin' with us! Our wonderful Pine City fans were the first to hear Rising's first original "Inevitable!" We hope you enjoyed it! We would like to thank all our Pine City fans for always coming to see us every month! We love you all and are gonna miss you, we hope you miss us too, lol! Thanks to Kevo for always running our sound for us, we love you brother, and to Laura and all the staff for all they have done for us! Ok fans, only 2 shows to go and we're dead! December 17th at Neisen's in Savage and New Year's Eve at Dean's will be our last and final show! We hope you can all make it!

11/13/11 - Wow! Last night at Mayslack's fuckin' rocked!! Amazing show and tons of people! That's the way we like it! We would like to thank Bass Kandi go-go company for helping us out last night with some girls! You all did great and appreciate your help! We would also like to send out and extended thanks to our good friend Dave for running our sound! It sounded great in there last night! Thanks to everyone who came out to rock with us, we appreciate you all! Thanks to Mayslack's for having us back! Ok, that does it for November! Hope you all have a nice Thanksgiving and we will see you December 2nd back in Pine City! Only 3 shows to go and we're dead!!

11/12/11 - Another round at Froggy's this month! Kinda slow again but we appreciate those who made it. Thanks to Kevo on the sound and Laura for having us out again! One more Froggy's gig next month and that's it for Pine City....maybe! We will miss you all! See you tonight in Minneapolis!! Mayslack's!

11/10/11 - Last night we were back at Povlitzki's for another Wednesday night rock night! Thanks to those who came out! We had a good night despite the small crowd! Thanks to Joe for running sound and belting out some Led Zeppelin on the vox! Those who were able to make it were given the pleasure of a tease of a Rising original! Sad no one will ever hear it completed! Thanks to Povlitzki's for having us out again! Ok fans, 5 shows and were dead! This weekend, it's Froggy's and Mayslack's! Hope to see you all there!

11/01/11 - Well Rising fans, we have some very sad news for you all! After almost 3 and a half years and over 200 shows, it seems Rising is done! It's very sad to say but it's based on a few different things. It seems that we can not get any gigs booked for 2012 and for some crazy reason, Tommy keeps having these weird dreams that we all die in a car accident on New Year's Eve! We have no idea what that's suppose to mean but we're taking it as, come 2012, Rising is dead! We would like to thank every last one of you for all your support over the last few years! It has been a blast! We have 6 shows left for the year and then we're dead! Starting November 9th back at Povlitzki's and ending New Year's Eve at Dean's! We hope you make it and sorry for the bad news!!

10/30/11 - What a fun show we had last night at The Edge in Burnsville! This year, we all dressed up as Zombie Surgeons and our girls were Zombie Nurses! We would like to thank Brian for being a good sport and letting us rip open his stomach and pull out his intestines!! LOL! Yeah, whoever didn't come missed out on some cool shit! We would like to thank everbody who came out and helped make this a fun halloween party! Thanks to The Edge for having us out! Everyone have a safe and Happy Halloween! Well, that does it for October! See you next month!

10/23/11 - What started as a Halloween party turned into a memorial show for Rising's long time friend Jason Hein who passed away unexpectedly a few days ago! In the midst of all the hurt and sadness for good friend Jason, everyone had a great time celebrating his life! We were honored to be able to play this show!! RIP brother!! Thanks to Stitch for being a part of it! Next week, Rising hits a new club in Burnsville for our big Halloween show! Lot's of surprises! See you there!

10/22/11 - Last night was awesome!! Rising, Slow Children and Stitch all together!! Happy birthday to Rob, Mike, Spit and Shaver! Thanks to Stitch and Slow Kids for rockin' out with us! You both, of course, were amazazing!!! Thanks to Mike on the sound, Dave and Morna for having all of us out and to all you fans who rocked out all night with us! What a kick ass show!! Ok, tomorrow we head over to Rising's good friend Buff's house in Stillwater for "Buffmaster's Halloween Bash 2"! The first gig we ever played 4 years ago! Stitch will be there with us! Text for directions! Outside gig! Hope you come!!

10/15/11 - Last night we were back at Froggy's! We don't know what it is but things have really been slowing down in Pine City too! Where have you been Pine City??? Thanks to those who did come out to party with us! We still had a great time! Thanks to Kevo on the sound and Laura for continuing to let us rock her world!!! We'll be back next month Pine City so get your asses back there!! Ok, next week we will be back at Dean's on a Friday for a big show with Stitch and Slow Children!!!! That's right, the 3 heaviest bands all together in 1 night! Not to mention, it's a quadruple birthday bash for Rob and Mike from Rising and Shaver and Spit from Slow Children! Gonna be huge! Don't miss out!

10/12/11 - Well fans, last night was officially our last Tuesday at Dean's! :( Very sad! Things have just died out too much there! Thanks to our friends in Stitch for opening on our last night for us! We would like to thank Mike for always doing a great job on the sound, we hope we can work with you again in the future, Dave and Morna for working with us as long as you did and to all our fans who came out on Tuesdays to rock with Rising! We love you all! Hopefully, we can try Tuesdays again in the future! Ok, this Friday we head back to Pine City! See you there!

10/08/11 - Last night we hit The Dugout in Mahtomedi for the first time! The closest bar to home yet! Pretty good show! The sound in there was incredible! Thanks to everyone who came out! We appreciate the support! We would also like to thank the sound tech and The Dugout for inviting us out! We hope we get to come back! See ya Tuesday!

10/05/11 - Back at Dean's again last night! Boy I tell ya, it's really dying out in there! Where you at Rising fans?? We're gonna give it another week and see how it goes. 09/28/11 - Pretty good turn out this week at Dean's! Our boy Max's new project band Crash Truck opened the night! Sweet show! Good job Max and to your band!! Thanks to all who came out! Also, thanks to Mike on the sound and Dave and Morna for having us! This week was definately good but we need to keep at it, we don't want it to fall through!! C'mon Rising fans! 09/22/11 - Pretty fun show last night at Povlitzki's! Kinda slow but this night is brand new so let's work together to build it up! It was good to see our friend Joe back on the sound! Thanks to all who joined us and Povlitzki's for having us! We'll be back there in November so mark your calendar!! Ok, quite a busy month! We'll see ya back at Dean's next week for our last show of September!

09/21/11 - Another week at Dean's and we were solo again!! Pretty slow night! Thanks to those who came! Thanks to Mike on the sound, and Dave and Morna for having us! 09/18/11 - Well, for some reason, Spike's was extremely dead! Very unusual for this place, it's always packed! Where were ya Faribault???? Well, Rising and Stitch rocked it out anyway!! 09/17/11 - Thanks for a fun night Pine City! We love coming back every month! We hoped you enjoyed our buddies in Stitch! Our first time bringing an opening band to Froggy's! Thanks to Kevo on the sound, Laura for having us back and to all who came out! See you next month Pine City! Ok, tonight we're back in Faribault and Stitch is coming too! 09/14/11 - Amazing week at Dean's!! Happy back to school!!! Nice big crowd...that's what we're talking about! Thanks to Outlaw Saints for closing the night out right! Happy birthday Tank! We would like to congratulate Feylon for winning a brand new ipod. He took first place in the Rising Quiz contest! It was cool to find out how much our fans know about us! LOL! And congrats to the winner of the naughty school bag! Everyone had a great time last night and so did we....thanks to all who came! Rising fans rock! We would also like to thank Mike on the sound and Dave and Morna for contributing to this night! Now let's keep this rolling every week!! 09/11/11 - Happy birthday Mule!!!!!!!!! Another kick ass year at The Bend! We hope your birthday was great Mule, it's an honor you inviting us to share it with you! Thanks to all who joined us and made it a night to remember! We would also like to send out an extended thanks to Dave and Mike for making the drive out to run our sound! It was great as usual! You guys rock Rising's world! We would love to do it again next year Mule, don't forget us! What a killer weekend we had! We'll see everyone back at Dean's for our biggest Tuesday yet!

09/10/11 - WOW!!!!!!!!!! Unfuckinbelievable show at the Chili Feed 2011! The best show we have ever had! The show we have been waiting for since we started! Over 1000 crazy metal heads screaming at the top of their lungs! Thanks so much to everyone involved in putting this show together and inviting Rising to be a part of it! We hope we can do it again next year! Also, thanks a bunch to the sound/lighting/production team! You guys were very helpful and it sounded amazing! And great job to Strange Daze! You killed it! Great to see you guys again! Just an amazing show we will never forget! Tonite, it's time to celebrate Mule's birthday again back at The Bend in Manchester! See you there!

09/07/11 - Another night at Dean's! Last night we played solo without an opening band! Just Rising in your face all night! A little slow, we hope it picks up! Thanks to everyone who came, Morna and Dave for having us and Mike on the sound! Next week, we have a huge night planned....it's back to school week and we will be having contests and prizes!!! Don't miss out!! Ok fans, we have a huge weekend this week, 2 outdoor gigs! Friday in Ellsworth and Saturday in Manchester! See you this weekend!!

09/03/11 - Fun show last night at Mayslack's! Kinda slow but we expected that from Labor Day weekend! Though, we do appreciate those who were able to make it! We will be back at Mayslack's in November so we hope you all can make it! See you Tuesday!

08/31/11 - Another week at Dean's! We decided to bring our friends Dear Elvira from Gravel Stock to close the night for us! Thanks guys and gals! Pretty slow night this week but to be expected with the State Fair going on! Thanks to those who did come! Also, thanks to Mike on the sound and Dave and Morna for having us out! Ok, this Friday we hit a new club in Minneapolis called Mayslack's! We're excited and hope the Labor Day weekend don't have too much of an effect on our crowd! See you then!

08/28/11 - Amazing show last night in St. Cloud! Our first time playing Gravel Stock! Tons of metal heads really digging our sets! Thanks to our "Mosh Pit" fans! You rock!! We would like to send out a huge thanks to everyone involved in putting this together and inviting Rising to be a part of it! We are very greatful! We would also like to thank Blimp, Dear Elvira and Gibbie Hibbies for sharing the stage with us, you all were awesome! And how about them fire people...sweet!!! Thanks to everyone who was a part of Rising's 200th show! We love you all!!! See you all Tuesday!!

08/24/11 - Back at Dean's again last night! We brought Stitch back with us! Great show you guys! Thanks to Mike on the sound, Dave and Morna for having us out again and all who came and joined us! Remember, we are back every Tuesday again so let's turn this night into something big again! Ok fans, this Saturday we play our first outdoor show for the year in St. Cloud at Gravel Stock 2011!! Our 200th show!!! Hope you make it out, it's gonna rock!!

08/20/11 - Last night was the shit!!!! Felt good to finally play a bar in Stillwater!!! Stillwater is where Rob and Tommy met Mike as kids and grew up together! As well as where their Dad is buried! So as you could guess, last night was packed at Smalley's!!! Thanks to all our fans, friends and family for partying the night with us! We would also like to thank Smalley's for inviting us out! We hope we can come back! Ok, we'll see you this Tuesday....you know where!

08/17/11 - Another fun night at Dean's! Good to be back after a 2 week break! Thanks to Monogon for opening the night, good job you guys! We would also like to thank Mike on the sound, Dave and Morna for having us back and everyone who came out! Ok fans, we decided to go back to every week at Dean's starting next Tuesday! 06/01/11 - Another fun week at Dean's! Those of you who keep coming back week after week, you fuckin' rock! 05/04/11 - All I can say is last night fucking rocked!!!! The oil wrestling was sexy as fuck, American Gothic killed it, Joe Spanbauer got drunk as fuck and rocked out on stage singing one of his own tunes, the chili was flowing, we had a bunch of girls audition for the Vix and congrats to Richard Staples for winning the guitar! Thanks to Pablo, Dave on the sound, Morna and the Dean's staff and all of you for being a part of this huge night! We'll see you all next week! 04/27/11 - Another killer night at Dean's! Those of you who haven't been coming out have really been missing out on a fun night! Thanks to Breathin' Sand for a great show! 04/06/11 - Let's give it up for the band Last Page! Wow! You kids were amazing! No lie! Thank you for playing with us and we look forward to playing with ya again soon! Another kick ass week at Dean's! Nice big crowd! Last Page opened up the night just right! We hoped everyone enjoyed our new tunes, KORN!!!!!! Rising has been wanting to play Korn for a while and finally it's in our list! Rising will be working on more tunes for ya so keep an open ear! 03/30/11 - Last night was our 2nd Tuesday at Dean's and it kicked ass! Thank you so much to everyone who came out! It felt like a regular Tuesday rock night with Rising! And let's give it up for Stir for opening up the night the right way! Those guys tore it up once again! You just don't get a better combination than Rising and Stir!!! We would also like to thank our good friend and long time sound tech Zeus for running our sound one last time before he heads out for the Navy! We have really enjoyed working with you these last few years and we've all thought you've done a kick ass job! Thank you and good luck to you! Not to mention, thanks to our Vix girls Taylor and Meg and to Morna and all the staff at Dean's for bringing Rising over to thier venue for the new Tuesday night rock night! We have lots in store for everyone in the coming weeks so we hope you all continue to join us each and every week! Next week, the band Last Page will be opening up for us. This band is one hell of a group of kids ranging from 13-17 in age! Come check them out! We'll see you next week!

03/23/11 - Well last night was our first Tuesday at Dean's playing on their new kick ass sound and light set-up! It was fuckin' awesome! However, a horse shit snow/sleat/rain storm hit us and kept a lot of people in doors! Not too good of a deal for our first week in but it's all good, cause we're at Dean's every Tuesday now! Thanks to Dave for a kick ass job on the sound, our Vix girls Angely and Dayna, Morna for having Rising play every week and to everybody who did weather the storm to join in on the action! We hoped you all liked our new tunes!!! I won't say what they were so those who didn't come will be surprised next week. We hope you all show up next week for another round of Rising and The Vix at Dean's! Remember, never a cover, killer drink specials, contests, prizes, and Stir will be opening up for us again! 03/13/11 - Great time at Dean's! Our best crowd there yet! Thank you so much to all who came! Now check this shit out, Dean's is our new Tuesday night home! Thats right, starting next Tuesday, Rising and The Vix will be at Dean's every week! 03/12/11 - WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kick ass fuckin' show at Spike's!! Our 2nd time in! We love it there!!! Definately one of our new favorite rooms!! Sound and lights were awesome!! 03/06/11 - What a blast we had at Whiskey Junction. Our first time in! Nice big crowd! We would like to send out a huge thanks to all who came to the show! 02/05/11 - Last night we were back at Whiskey Bone's Roadhouse in Rochester and I've got to say, it was awesome seeing so many familiar faces from last our last show there. 01/22/11 - Last night we played a new club in Columbia Heights called The Star Bar. We would like to thank all our true Rising fans who came out to see us, even though our set only lasted about 30 minutes. Also, a big thanks to Andy from Under None for inviting us to play with him. We had a good time, thanks to our fans. We love you! We would also like to thank Dude Worthy and Whit W/DJ Frank Castle. You all did a kick ass job! 01/19/11 - Another kick ass week at Robert's! Our family is definately growing! Kick ass job by "Mother Earth" and "Wither The Tide". Great job you guys! We would also like to apologize for Bad Boy Brian not being able to make it out for midget bowling. Apparently he had some car trouble. I'm sure we will all see him again in the future. We would like to welcome Leslie to our Rising family. She is one of our brand new Vix and had her first show last night, great job! We would like to thank our Vix girls Jill, Sarah and Meg for a kick ass job as always last night, Joe on the sound, Floyd and all the staff at Robert's for having us out again and of course all of you for coming out! 01/16/11 - What a great venue Spike's was! Amazing sound and light's! We were hoping to see more of our Grampa Al's fans but it was still a decent turn out. Thanks to all who did come out! We would also like to thank our Vix girl Jessica and our new Vix girl Nicole for a great job, Jay on the sound and Mike and all the staff at Spike's for your wondeful hospitality and for inviting us out! 01/12/11 - Well, last night was our 2nd Tuesday at Robert's and things are definately picking up and we appreciate everybody's support. We know that we can turn this into something huge together! 12/12/10 - Well last night didn't exactly go as planned due to the 500 feet of snow we got!! Unfortunately, the only band that was able to make it and jam out was Machine 22. Thanks a lot you guys! So, for the remainder of the evening, our beautiful Rising Vix danced the night away! Thanks to Gilleah and Meg! Not to mention, we had a new girl audition last night and she drove all the way to Andover in the shitty weather! Thanks for your courageous anticipation Prism!! All and all, Rising and The Rising Vix made the best of the evening! Rock on!

12/11/10 - Another winter storm hit us last night though that didn't stop our courageous kick-ass Pine City fans from rockin' out with us this month at Froggy's! Our Pine City fans are the shit!!! We had a kick-ass time! People rocked out all the way til close and we couldn't be more grateful! 10/27/10 - What a kick ass booooooozeday tuesday last night! Lot's going on and lot's of fans! We would like to give it up for "Dying Euphoria", they tore it the fuck up! 10/23/10 - Killer fun night at Betty's! Rob and Mike had a kick ass birthday bash!! Thanks to everyone who was a part of it. Not a bad crowd either. 10/16/10 - WOW! Probably the busiest we've ever seen it at Froggy's! And we were told that everybody was there to honor local patron Willy who past away suddenly last week. Rising would like to send out our deepest condolences to all his family and friends and would like to express how honored we felt to be a part of this night. May he rest in peace! We would also like to thank our good friend Rich from "Scarrd" for helping Tommy out on vocals, Kevin for running the sound, our beautiful Rising Vix Tia and Gil for doing a great job as always and Laura and all the staff at Froggy's for having us out once again! We love playing Froggy's! Well Rising fans, our show tonight at Grampa Al's has been passed on to our good friends in "Sum Of All". These guys kick ass so make sure you still get ur asses to Al's! We would like to thank Sum Of All for helping out. Our singer Tommy has been having more issues with his voice and will be having surgery very soon. Tommy found out that he has Polyps on his throat and will be having surgery to remove them and hoping to come out of it with his voice back and stronger than ever. Tommy is gonna finish out October and then will take some time off in November to recoop! Another side note, we are taking a week off at The Park and "Until The End" will be taking our place. Going forward, there will be different bands playing The Park here and there. We will fill you in once we have things figured out! Ok everyone, so our next show will be this Friday back at Bamboo Betty's in Circle Pines. Rob and Mike's 30th birthday bash! As well as a goodbye party to Rob and Tommy's nephew Chris. He will be heading off to the military October 25th! This show is gonna kick-ass so make sure you don't miss out!!!

10/13/10 - Another fun night at The Park. Thanks to MMF for a kick-ass job rockin' out those classic 80s tunes! Last night we had brand new Vix girls "Galina" and "Meg" rockin' the stage with us for the first time and they were awesome! Thanks girls and welcome to the family!! Not to mention, our beautiful Gil was out on the floor selling Vix shots! We would like to thank vocalists Rich and Myke for filling in on a couple tunes last night, Zeus for the sound, Amanda and all the staff at The Park for having us out again and to everybody who joined us! 09/29/10 - Another kick-ass night at The Park (our home away from home)! We had so much fun like always! 09/15/10 - Incredible fuckin' show last night!! We love how each week, it's gettin' better and better at The Park! We would like to thank American Gothic for one hell of a show.....WOW....., Aurea, Gilleah, Angely, Rachel and Sarah from the Vix for all you did last night, you were awesome as usual. Zeus for rockin' the sound board, Amanda and all the staff at The Park for having us out again and all you fans for hanging with us all night! The Pickle Park is definately the place to be each week, if anyone hasn't made it out on a Tuesday, you are missing out....no joke....get your ass to the park next week. Pissing Gasoline will take the stage before us! Okay, this Saturday is our 2nd outdoor show. Head down south with us to Albert Lea at "Bend In The Road" and let's tear it the fuck up together!!! 09/11/10 - Last night was our first time in Pine City with The Vix and I have to say, they were a hit!!! Thanks Gilleah and Sarah! We would also like to thank Brent and Tommy from "Blackout" for getting up and playing a tune (awesome job you guys), Kevin on the sound, Laura for having us play each and every month and everyone who came out and joined us! We'll be back next month like always and will be bringing the girls once again! See you this Tuesday at The Park!

09/08/10 - Last night kicked ass! The Vix couldn't have been hotter!!! We would like to thank Danielle, Marina, Gilleah, Susan and Sarah for dressing up in sexy school girl attire and doing a great job as always!! We would also like to thank Scarrd for warming up the stage for us!! Kick ass you guys!!! Loved the show!! We would also like to thank our kick ass sound guy Zeus for rockin' as usual and to Amanda and all the staff at The Park for having us out again!! We definately feel at home at The Park! 09/04/10 - Last night we were at Pov's again and it was a pretty good crowd considering it was Labor day weekend. We would like to thank Smashed Pumpkins and Unhinged for sharing the stage with us. You guys kicked ass!! We would also like to thank Joe for running the sound, Angely and Gilleah of The Vix, Brad and all the staff at Pov's for having us back and to all you fans who joined us on this Labor day weekend! You fuckin' rock!! Okay, this Tuesday it's Boozeday Tuesday once again.....how about some naughty school girl vix......??????

09/01/10 - Back at The Park again last night and another kick ass show it was! A little bit slower than it's been lately but with the State Fair going on, what can you do? We would like to thank "A Moment Without" for fucking tearing it up! Awesome band! If you weren't there to see them, you missed out! Thanks for playing with us guys! We would also like to thank Danielle, Aurea, Sarah, Gilleah and Rachel from The Vix for all they did last night (great job as always), Zeus for doing what he does best on the sound board, Amanda and all the staff at The Park for having us rock out each and every week and to everybody who chose to join us instead of spending hundreds of dollars at the fair....you all rock!! Like always, we'll be back next Tuesday with a band called "Scarrd!" Ok, so this Friday we are back at Pov's playing with "Smashed Pumpkins" and "Unhinged". Should be kick ass! 08/25/10 - Another night at The Park and I've gotta say, it just gets better every week. Our best crowd yet! Our first week with an opening band. We would like to thank "Under None" for putting on a great fuckin' show! Don't forget that we will have a new band every week from here on out. We would also like to thank Danielle, Angely, Sarah, Gilleah and Rachel from the Vix for all their hard work last night. From getting wild in the cages, to selling shots or selling merch, these girls are always on top of their games! Not to mention, thanks to Zeus for another great job on the sound, Amanda and all the staff at The Park for having us out yet again and to all of you awesome people for continuing to make this party better and better! 08/22/10 - Last night we played a new club in Rochester called Whiskey Bone's Roadhouse. What a kick ass place. Great stage and sound. We would like to thank Todd for inviting us out. We would also like to thank Rachel and Gilleah from the Vix for a great job rockin' the cages, the sound tech for making the place rock and to everybody who joined us for a little Rising & The Vix! We hope to play there again soon! Alright everybody, this Tuesday we're back at The Park! See you there!!

08/18/10 - Holy shit!!!! What a kick ass fuckin' night at The Park! The best Tuesday yet! Gotta love that free booze! Thanks so much to all who came out and joined in on the party! We would also like to thank Courtney, Danielle and Marina of The Vix for another job well done, Zeus for doing what he does best on the sound board, Phil from "American Gothic" for gettin up and bustin out some Pantera on guitar and vocals, Metro Protection Agency for helpin out and Amanda and all the staff at The Park for once again, inviting Rising to play at their club! Remember everyone, we're doing this shit every fuckin' week and starting next week, we will be having local original rock/metal bands opening for us. A different band every week! 08/15/10 - What a night at Beer Belly's!!! We had so much fuckin' fun!! Nice crowd!! We would like to thank Courtney and Danielle from The Vix for kickin' ass like always, Dennis on the sound and lights for kickin' ass, Mike for inviting us back and all you fans who came out and joined us!!! 08/14/10 - Kick ass night in Pine City! Thanks to everyone who joined us!  We would also like to thank Kevin for running our sound and Laura for having us out once again!!! It looks like next month, we will be bringing the Vix with for the first time ever to Froggy's!! So tell everyone you know Pine City, time to tear it up next month!!! 08/11/10 - An even better night this week at the Park than last week. Thanks so much to everyone who came out! We know because of all of you, these nights will just continue to get better! 08/07/10 - Last night we were back at Pov's for the first time in 9 months and what a kick ass night! One of the best crowds we've ever had there! And they stayed all fuckin' night! We would like to thank Sarah and Rachel of the Vix for kickin' fuckin' ass last night! You girls were awesome and the crowd loved it! We would also like to thank Joe for running our sound, Brad and all the staff at Pov's for having us back and to all of you fans who made last night an awesome fuckin' night! Nothing booked back at Pov's as of yet but we hope they bring us back! Alright Rising fans, our show tonight in Annandale has been cancelled so we will see you all this Tuesday back at The Pickle Park!!!

08/04/10 - We had a great fuckin' time last night! Wasn't as busy as we hoped but it was the first Tuesday night there and we know it's gonna take time. That means everyone has to tell everyone you know that Tuesday nights at The Park with Rising and The Vix is where it's at and we will build this up together!!!!!!!!! We would like to thank Zeus for making the Park sound more incredible than it's ever, Danielle, Aurea and the other beautiful Vix who all did a fantastic job, Sean from "Makeshift" and Jeff from "10,000 Days" for getting up and singing a few tunes, Amanda and all the staff at The Park for making Rising a part of this awesome night and all you fans who came out and joined us!! Also, thanks to all the girls who participated in the "Naughty underwear" contest! 08/01/10 - Kick ass fucking night at Robert's! Tons of people! 07/31/10 - Last night we hit Primetime for the first time since January. Our first time there with The Vix! We had a kick ass time! Also, our first show with Zues as our official sound guy!! From here on out, we will be working with him at all our shows! We couldn't be more happy! Zues rocks!! Thanks to all who came out to party with us and to Danielle and Aurea from The Vix for doing great as always.....not to mention, it was our first show with the new cages we had made for the girls!!! 07/25/10 - Awesome show last night at Al's! Amazing sound as always! Thanks to everyone who came out and partied with us! Faribault kicks ass! We would also like to thank Danielle and Aurea of The Vix for putting on one of their best shows yet, Caleb for a great job on the sound, Jeff from 10,000 Days for filling in on the vox for some Tool and helping out on the board, and to Jim and all the staff at Al's for inviting us back! 07/10/10 - Another night in Pine City. Our first time there with Max. Pretty ok night. Could have been better but we still rocked it out! Thanks again to Kevin for running the sound and Laura for having us back. Ok, tonite we hit a new place in Ellsworth, Wi...The T-Bar, playing with Matrekis! There will be lots going on, Bikini car wash, giant slip-n-slide, 2 bands and more! Gonna be a kick ass party!!!

07/03/10 - Last night we hit a new club in Oakdale called Beer Belly's. Not much of a crowd but to be expected on the "4th of July" weekend. We still had a great time! We would like to thank Danielle and Susan from The Vix for another great job as always! As well as the sound tech and all the staff at Beer Belly's for having us out! Nothing booked there again but keep checking our calendar. Ok fans, this Tuesday at The Rock has been cancelled but next Friday we head back to Pine City and then Saturday, we head to Ellsworth, Wi to The T-Bar! 06/27/10 - What a great time at Dibbo's! We would like to thank everyone who came out just despite all the storms and tornado watch's going on around the area! Another big thanks to Danielle and Aurea of The Vix who were outstanding yet again! We couldn't be more pleased to have you a part of our shows! Happy birthday to Gerry! We hope you enjoyed the show! 06/24/10 - Another kick ass night at The Park!!! We would like to thank everyone who made it out! We had a fuckin' blast! 06/02/10 - What a kick ass show at The Rock!! One of the best in months!!! We would like to thank everybody who came out and joined us! You all fuckin' rock!! We would also like to thank Danielle and Courtney from The Vix who made this show what it was!! The Vix add soo much to our Shows and we couldn't be more grateful to have you!! And thanks to our old drummer Chris for filling in for us on the kit and to Joe for running sound!! It was definately a night to remember, first, a set of Dogsmack, then The Vix took the stage by themselves, followed by an ass/bolonga contest and then a killer set of Rising!!! 05/27/10 - HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whoever didn't come to the Pickle Park last night missed out on the show of the year!!! Where do I begin??? Amazing sound, amazing crowd!! And let's not forget about the newest members of the band....."The Vix!!!" We would like to send out an extended thanks to Susan and Aurea for doing an amazing job last night dancing on stage!!! You two looked hot as hell....especially in Rising attire! We couldn't have been more grateful! "The Vix" will be accompaning Rising on stage from here on out so if you missed them Wednesday, get your ass to our next show!! What could be better......2 gorgeous woman, in Rising booty shorts, dancing to "Mudvayne", "Static-X" and "Slipknot"! Let's not forget about Max on the Drums!!! 05/23/10 - Another fun time in Buffalo last night! Thanks to Chris from Presicion Sound for running our sound last night. Chris always does a great job! Also, thanks to Sean for inviting us back and to all who came and joined in on the party!! Not to mention, let's hear it for "Spit" from "Slow Children" for helping Tommy out on the vox! 04/21/10 - Last night we were back at The Rock for 420!!!!! What a kick ass show!! Our singer Tommy has still been taking it easy trying to recover since he lost his voice so we would like to send out a huge thank you to Spit from Slow Children for filling in. As usual, Spit kicked fucking ass! However, Tommy did get up for a bunch of tunes and rocked it out! Also, thanks once again to Joe for running the sound and all who came and rocked out with us! 04/15/10 - Our first show at the Pickle Park last night and we had a pretty decent turn out!! 03/20/10 - Kick ass show last night at Biff's!! Tommy's first show since surgery and he belted it!! We played nothing but Rising's heaviest shit as well as our newest tune "Dig" by Mudvayne!!! We had a great crowd and we couldn't have been happier!! We fucking tore it up!! Not to mention Slow Children!!! They did what they always do best and rocked the house!! We would like to thank those guys for playing with us and hope we can do it again sometime! It just doesn't get any better than a Rising/Slow Children show!! Well that's it for March....and what a way to end it!! We'll see you April 2nd back at Al's!!!

03/17/10 - Great show last night back at The Rock. Once again, Tommy could not make it. He's out of surgery and home but not quite ready to come back. 01/16/10 - Well last night we were back in Big Lake at the Salida Depot. Pretty slow there but we had a good time anyway. 01/06/10 - Last night we were once again back at The Rock in Maplewood and as always, we had a kick ass show!!! Thanks to all you fans who always come and support us at The Rock!! Let's give it up for our sound guy Joe who not only kicked ass on the sound like he always does but for getting behind the mic and busting out a little "Good Times, Bad Times". We didn't know you could belt it out Joe, awesome!!!! :) Don't forget everyone that we will be back at The Rock next month on the 16th for their big "Mardi Gras" celebration so do not miss this one!!! Will be lot's going on! Ok, so we will see you on the 15th in Big Lake!!! Rock on!!!

01/03/10 - Last night we hit another new place in Dundas called Dawn's Corner Bar. Our first show for 2010! Kind of slow but to be expected....I'm sure everyone's a little tired out from New Year's...LOL! Once again, we had Chris from Precision Sound running the show for us and he did a great job! Not a bad place, hopefully we'll get back in there again soon. Ok, so this Tuesday, we're back at The Rock....see you then!!

12/28/09 - Well Rising fans, all I can say is 2009 kicked some major ass!!!!!!! Definately surpassed 2008 for us by all means and undoubtedly exceeded our expectations!! Let's take a little re-cap here......we played "65" shows bringing our total to 83!!!! We hit 13 new clubs and played out very first outdoor concert!!! Not to mention we opened up for our first national band....Rev Theory!!! Through this process, we have met lots of new and exciting people! We have had the pleasure of working with a lot of nice, talented, professional sound techs, many new bar owners and staff, a lot of kick ass bands who we have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with and tons and tons of new Rising fans!!!  Also, this past year, we have joined forces with Greg Absey and "Absey Entertainment" as our booking agency and they have been a big part in our continued success. We would like to thank Absey for everything they've done for us this past year and look forward to working with them even more. Along the way, we lost a member of the group, our original drummer Chris Aloisio but gained our new drummer Donny March (Electric Eye, Porcelain God, Shadow Stone) who has proven to be an amazing asset to Rising!!! Donny was thrown in at the last second and had to learn over 30 songs in 3 weeks and sure enough, pulled it off just in time for our show with Rev Theory!! Donny has been busting his ass for the group and we couldn't be more thankful. Over the past year, we have added songs to our playlist from the likes of, Drowning Pool, Motley Crue, Soilwork, Static-X, Stone Sour, System Of A Down, Alice In Chains, American Head Charge, Lamb Of God, Shinedown, Megadeth, Metallica, CCR and many, many more!!! One of our favorite additions has got to be Brother Cane's little one hit wonder, "And Fools Shine On"! Not a very known song but it has been going over very well! One of the more noticeable additions has got to be our rendition of No Doubt's "I'm Just A Girl". LOL.....if you haven't heard it yet, come check it out!! And our recent project to be added to the playlist is out very first blues tune. That's right fans....blues!!! Why blues???? Come listen to our guitarist play some blues and you'll know why!! :) I don't want to give it away just yet but come check out a show soon and you'll hear which tune! For 2010, we have set our sights on some kick ass tunes that we feel will fit right in!! Songs from the likes of White Zombie, Deep Purple, Lynryd Skynyrd, Slayer, Pantera, Disturbed, Extreme, Alice Cooper, Machinehead, Tool, The Police, Mudvayne, and many, many, more. We want to send out a huge thank you to everyone who came and seen us this past year!!! No band, national or local, would have the success they do if it wasn't for the fans that come and see them. You make the shows what they are and the bands who they are!! You kick ass and we love you all!!! We hope you continue to support us as we head into another kick ass year!! Lot's of new and exciting things are planned for 2010 so keep coming to our shows and you'll see............until then.......SAY RISING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
12/27/09 - Holy shit!!!!! What a kick ass show we had last night at Neisen's!! Absolutely incredible!! It seemed like almost every single Rising fan was there, up front, rockin' out all 3 sets!! We can't thank you all enough for coming. We had more fun than we've had in a long time!! No matter what we played, they loved it!! Thank you so much to Quinton on the sound board for kicking ass like he always does!! Definately one of our favorite sound guys!! We have nothing booked at Neisen's but hope they have us back cause we would love that!!! I can't describe anymore how much of a kick ass show we had. We definately finished off 2009 the right way. Ok everyone, have a safe and happy New Year and we will see you all next year....

12/20/09 - Back at Dibbo's again last night and it rocked as usual. Thanks to all of you that came out and joined us. We appreciate it so much. Thanks to Don on the sound board for doing a kick ass job and thanks to Chuck and all the staff at Dibbo's for another great experience. We have been booked again in February so check our calender. Okay, so it's time to do this Christmas thing and then get your asses to Neisen's in Savage this Saturday where we'll tear up once again at the club that started it all for Rising!! 12/16/09 - So last night we filled in at the last second at The Rock. They apparently had no band so of course we were more than willing!!! Not a bad turn out. Definately better than last week. Thanks to Joe again for running the sound and everyone who came out! Well, we have our January gig booked at The Rock on January 5th! Make sure you're there to rock out with us!! 12/13/09 - Wow!!! Biff's kicked ass!! We didn't go on till almost 12 but we had a great time!! Incredible stage and sound. Excellent sound and lights techs. Thanks so much to everyone for sticking around after the fight to rock out with Rising!! And thanks to Biff's for having us out. We hope they have us back!! Ok, we'll see you next Saturday at everyone's favorite club, Dibbo's!!

12/12/09 - Another kick ass night at The Press!! They really liked the new tunes!!! Thanks so much to everyone who came out and joined us for such a fun night! Thanks to Chad as well for another great job on the sound. It sounded better this time at The Press than it ever has. And thanks to the staff for having us back again. We love it at The Press. We will be back there again in February so check our calender. Ok, so tonight we're at a new place....Biff's in Spring Lake Park. We are super excited. We hit the stage right after the UFC fight so let's rock out!!

12/09/09 - Once again, we were back at The Rock last night!! And with the huge fuckin' snow storm, not many people weathered it out! How unusual it was to see The Rock that empty. Still, those who were there, made the show kick ass!! So thanks to all who came and stayed!! Thanks again to Joe on the sound as well. All and all, we had a kick ass time!!! Our January gig hasn't been booked yet but we will be back so keep checking our calender. Ok, so Friday, we're back at The Press in St. Cloud! See ya there!!!

12/06/09 - Last night, we filled in at the last second at Salida Depot in Big Lake! We had a good time! Not many people there due to it being a "last second" thing but it still was pretty good. We gave a crack at some of our new tunes and they sounded great! We also got to work with a new sound guy named Tim who was incredible. He also got up for a tune on the drums with us! Thanks Tim for doing such a great job! And thanks to the staff/mgmt for having us out. As well as everybody who came and rocked with us! We will be back at Salida Depot next month so check our calender and be there!! Okay, we'll see you this Tuesday @ The Rock!!!!!!!

11/21/09 - Well last night we hit a new place in Bethel called The Hydrant. Not a lot of people but those of you who were there, thanks for coming and rockin' out with us! Also, we would like to thank Mark and Chris from Precision Sound for runing production for us! Excellent job you 2. We appreciate it! We definately will be workin' with them more in the future. 11/15/09 - Kick ass night at Grampa Al's!! WOW!!! Great crowd rockin' up front all night!! Back on the sound was Nate who, like always, rocked the fuckin' house on sound. 11/14/09 - One of our best times at Froggy's last night. Good crowd! Thanks to everyone who came out and stuck around all night. 11/08/09 - It was great to be back at Pov's last night. We just love it there! We'd like to send out a congrats to the contestants that participated in the bikini contest. WOW!! Great job ladies!!! We'd also like to extend our thanks to Mike who ran our sound last night, to Brad and all the staff at Pov's for having Rising back and to everyone who came out to see us!! We love all you Rising fans and appreciate your continued support!! Nothing booked back at Pov's yet but we're hoping they invite us back again! Okay, so next weekend is Froggy's in Pine City Friday and Grampa Al's in Faribault Saturday! It's gonna be a fun weekend. Let's rock!!!!

11/04/09 - Last night we played our first gig for November at our favorite place, The Rock! We fucking tore it up! Crowd was loving it! We also unveiled our newest song "Redneck" by none other than Lamb Of God! Everyone seemed very surprised and very pleased! Thanks to everyone who came out for the all new 93x rock night! And thanks to Joe for doing what he does best on the board as well as Brian for having us back. We'll see you back at The Rock in December. Next gig is this Saturday back at Pov's in Andover. HELL YEAH!!

10/25/09 - Last night was awesome!!! Lot's of people rocking out! We had a great fuckin' time! Happy birthday to Mike and Rob. Hope you liked your "boob" cake! Thanks to all our friends and family who came out to celebrate with us! Thanks to Don for running the sound for us and to Chuck and all the staff at Dibbo's for having us back! 10/24/09 - Another kick ass time at The Press last night! Kind of a slower night at The Press but still kicked ass! Apparently the students were on break and out of town. 10/22/09 - Last night we were back at Primetime for another rockin' wednesday night! Great crowd!! We had a great time!! We would like to thank Myke from the band Grind for helping out with some vox for our singer Tommy who's still fighting that cold shit!! Also, we want to thank Joe who as always did a great job on the sound and for Primetime for having us back to rock their stage once more. And all of you for coming out and rocking with us. 10/18/09 - What a great time we had at Scoops! Definately our best crowd there. The people there were really into the heavy shit. Hell yeah!! Our singer Tommy had to pull a whole weekend off sick as hell and he did it, giving it everything he had!! We would like to thank Mike for kicking ass on the sound board, Scoops for having us back and all you fans for sticking around and rocking out with us! Well as of now, we have nothing booked at Scoops but we are hoping to get back there soon. Okay, so next show is back at Primetime this Wednesday. 10/17/09 - Last night we filled in at the last second at Primetime in Burnsville for the band Hydrogen who apparently couldn't make it. We had a good time!! 10/14/09 - Well last night we were back at the Rock with no 93X....they were all at Metallica!!! We didn't expect many people to show up competing with that but let me tell you....those die hard Rock patrons are the shit!!! What a great turn out we had!!! And they all rocked out with from start to finish. We had a kick ass fuckin' time. The Rock is never a dissapointment. We also got to work with one of our favorite sound techs again, Joe who did another kick ass job!! And as always, thanks to the Rock for having us out again. We'll be back there next month so mark that calender. Ok, so it's time to head back to Scoop's in Coon Rapids this Saturday. Our first show there that isn't a holiday weekend. We are hoping for a nice turn out!! We'll see you then!!

10/12/09 - Attention Rising Fans.....so we've been off for a month but are now back to rock your fucking socks off!!! Join us tomorrow night as we kick off October with 5 kick ass shows!!! First, we are at "The Rock" in Maplewood tomorrow night, then Saturday back at "Scoops" in Coon Rapids, followed by "Primetime" in Burnsville next Wednesday the 21st, then we head back up north to "The Press" in St. Cloud on Friday the 23rd and then Saturday the 24th we end October at "Dibbo's" in Hudson for a double birthday for our bassist Rob and guitarist Mike who are both turning 29!!! We hope you join us this month for some kick ass shows and some kick ass new tunes we have learned just for you!! It's time to SAY RISING as loud as you can.

09/12/09 - Last night, we rocked the shit out of Froggy's!! Great crowd this time around and they loved it!!! Thanks to all of you for coming out!!! 09/06/09 - So last night was our debut at Salida Depot in Big Lake. This place was a great club with a huge stage and great sound!!! 09/02/09 - So we were told that last night, due to the state fair, is one of the slowest nights of the year at The Rock, well we proved that wrong. Last night absolutely kicked ass!!! What a nice big crowd we had!!! The people were really into it!! We had a blast up on that stage!!! Not to mention, we celebrated my mom's birthday!!! Thanks for the support mom, and happy birthday....hope you had fun!!! Like always, we will be back at The Rock next month so check our calender. 08/27/09 - Last night we played our first show at Bogart's in Apple Valley. Gotta love that 3-tiered stage. We had a kick ass time!! Thanks to John for kicking ass on the sound all night! 08/23/09 - WOW!!!! The Buffalo Bar absolutely kicked ass!!! Everything about this place!! From the staff to the atmosphere to the crowd, we couldn't have asked for a better show!! The people in Buffalo kick ass!!! We would also like to send out an extended thanks to Nick and his buddy John for an amazing sound and lighting experience. Nick was able to fill in at the last moment for us and we couldn't be more thankful!!! Nick, you are by far, one of the best we've worked with. We would love to work with you again!! Anyways, thanks so much to Shawn for inviting Rising to play the Buffalo Bar. We hope they invite us back. Okay, so next show is this Wednesday for our debut at Bogart's in Apple Valley!! 08/15/09 - Last night we played our first outdoor gig at Dobie Days in Harmony, Mn and what a blast!!! Thanks to all who came and rocked out with us!! We would also like to thank the 2 sound techs we had for doing a wonderful job on the sound, all the staff who participated in putting this together, "Ross William Perry" and "Mr. Peabody" for sharing the stage with us (Great job by the way guys) and last but lot least, Cory for inviting Rising to come play this great event. We had a lot of fun and would love to come back next year!!! Okay, we'll see everyone tonight back at Grampa Al's in Faribault!!

08/08/09 - Last night we were back at the Northstar Bar in Rochester!! We had a great time. It was awesome seeing so many familiar faces telling us they came back just to see us!! We want to thank everyone for coming out last night and partying with Rising! Also, thanks to Joe for a great job on the sound and to the Northstar for having us back! Nothing booked again as of yet but we hope they have us back! Okay, so next weekend.......Friday we hit the road for Harmony, Mn for "Dobie Days!" Our very first outdoor concert!! 08/05/09 - Once again, The Rock fuckin' rocked!!! We had a lot of our friends and family out to see us and a nice big crowd. Thanks to all those true die-hard metal fans who stuck around at the front of the stage. We would also like to thank Joe for another great job on the board. This was our first time workin' with Joe at The Rock and our first time not workin' with Zues! Both very good sound techs and we couldn't be happier with either one. We'll be back at The Rock Sep 1st so we hope you are too! Our next stop, this Friday back in Rochester. SAY RISING!!!

08/02/09 - Thanks to all who came out to Pov's last night. We had a great time as always. Not a bad crowd!! The stayed up front almost the whole night. You guys rock!!! 07/19/09 - What a kick ass night at Pov's!! Lot's going on!! Guerilla Radio and 10,000 days kicked ass in the tent outside. And inside, we got to share the stage with Dirt, who again kicked ass and Space Needle. Our first time seeing them, and I tell ya, what a unique show. I love how they present the 90s era in so many ways. From, 90s memorabilia, to tvs playing Beavis and Butthead to flannels everywhere!! LOL...good job guys!!! And nice selection of 90s tunes. It was just overall, a kick ass night. Hard to decide weather to stay inside or go outside.  We want to thank Joe the sound tech for another great night of sound, all 4 bands we had the pleasure of sharing the night with, Pov's for including us in this huge night and of course all you fans who stuck it out the whole night....we love playing Pov's. We will be back in about 2 weeks. August 1st!!! Ok, next stop, this Wednesday at Primetime in Burnsville for "Rockin' Buck Night!" See ya then!!!

07/15/09 - WOW!!!! What a night at The Rock!!! 4 girls wrestled in Jello, you were down right crazy to miss that!!! Pablo hit the dunk tank as well as the bartender Sarah, the 2 for 1's were flowing, and the Rising fans rocked out right up front for all 3 sets!!! I must say, the jello wrestling pretty much stole the night as well as the eyes of every dude in that place!!! Overall, one kick ass show at The Rock this time around. And we'll do it again August 4th!!! Okay, so next stop.....Pov's in Andover for the "Get Bent At The Tent" party!!!! 5 bands!!!! This Saturday!!! Gonna kick ass, come one, come all!!! See ya then!!!

07/11/09 - Last night, we played our 2nd show at Froggy's in Pine City. Not too bad of a night. We seen some familiar faces and met some new people. Again, we workd with the sound tech Kevin and he did terrific like last time. Thanks Kev! Looks like we'll be back there in September, so spread the word Pine City! Okay, so our next show is this Tuesday....where....you guessed it...back at The Rock in Maplewood for the all new "Get Trashed Tuesday!!!" There will be a lot going on that night!! Dunk tank, jello wrestling, 2 for 1's.....and more!!! Also, we will be unveiling our newest song.....by SOILWORK!!!! As well as another Alice In Chains!! Do not miss this show!!!!

07/04/09 - Last night, we had our first show at Scoop's in Coon Rapids. The holiday weekend definately played a part on the crowd but it still wasn't too bad. We got to meet some new people and work with a new sound tech, Mike. He did a great job. Thanks Mike! Hopefully, we'll be back there again soon. Alright, well we hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July weekend and we'll see you next Friday at Froggy's!

06/29/09 - We had a good time last night back at Pov's! They have such a nice stage and sound set-up there!! Again, we had the chance to work with the sound tech Joe and as always, he did a fantastic job! Thanks Joe!! We'll be back at Pov's July 18th playing with 3 other bands. 06/28/09 - Another great time at Dibbos! Boy do the fans there love Rising! Thanks so much for the support!! We also had the chance to work with the sound tech Derik. Our first time playing with him. 06/21/09 - WOW!!! What a kick ass time we had last night at Neisen's!!! All around, a kick ass show!! Nice big crowd rockin' out with us all night, friendly staff, fantastic sound and light show by Quinton! What a way to finish off the first year of RISING! We can't wait to play Neisen's again!! 06/20/09 - We had a good time last night rockin' out at The Northstar. Our 2nd time there!!! It was cool seeing all the familiar faces from the last time we were there. Not to mention, our good friend Curt from Rochester was there rockin' out as well! We'll be back at the Northstar in August so swing by if you missed us this time! Okay, so tonight is our 1 year anniversary show at Neisen's! We're pumped and can't wait to see you all there!! Rock on!!

06/14/09 - Last night we were out at Primetime in Burnsville! We had a great time! Thanks to all that came and thanks to our good friends in Fatal Dekree for coming out as well. 06/13/09 - Last night we headed up to Pine City for our debut show at Froggy's. We had a great time. Kind of a small place and small crowd but we still blew the roof off!!! 06/10/09 - Last night was our second half of the Rising-a-thon at The Rock! And of course, it kicked ass!! A lot of our family, friends and fans came to rock out with us!!! We love playing The Rock!! Zeus, once again did a kick ass job on the sound. Thanks Zeus!! We'll be back at The Rock in July so don't miss out!!! If you haven't seen Rising play here, then you need to get your ass down to Maplewood in July!! Ok, so we have 2 days off before another big weekend. Friday, we have our debut show at Froggy's in Pine City and Saturday at Primetime in Burnsville. Hope you make it!!!

06/07/09 - As always, The Press kicked ass last night! St. Cloud loves the heavy shit!! Thanks to all who came out and rocked with us and for the drinks!! We'll be back at The Press in July. Check our calender!! Alright, so our next show is this Tuesday back at The Rock in Maplewood for the 2nd half of the rising-a-thon!! Our 40th show!! Be there!!!

06/05/09 - We had a great time last night rockin' out Grampa Al's for our 2nd time there. We met a lot of new people and seen a lot of familiar faces from last time. We would like to give a shout out to Nathan who was our sound tech last night. It was our first time meeting him and working with him and we thought he did a phenominal job!!! Thanks Nathan. Also, we would like to thank Curt and his friends from Rochester who drove a ways to see us last night. Curt met us at the Northstar in Rochester our first time there and also drove out to see us last time we were in Faribault. It's fans like Curt that give us the motivation to keep rockin' more and more!!! Well, our next time back at Grampa Al's will be August 15th. Our first Saturday there!! We are really looking forward to it and hope we have a nice turn out! We'll see you tomorrow in St. Cloud!!!! Look out Press, we're back!!!
 
06/03/09 - Another kick ass time at The Rock last night!!! Never a dull moment there!! This was our second show with our new drummer Donny and he fuckin' tore it up!!! We will be back at The Rock next tuesday for the 2nd half of the Rising-A-Thon! Hope you all make it back for round 2! We'd also like to give a shout out to drummer "Mattallica" who joined us on stage last night for a couple tunes!! Alright, so our next stop will be tomorrow night in Faribault!! Back at Grampa Al's for our 2nd time! We hope the rockers in Faribault join us for a kick ass thursday night!! See ya there!! SAY RISING!!

06/01/09 - RISING'S # 1 fan for the month of June is "Manda!" Manda lives in Lester Prairie, Mn which is quite a drive from the cities and yet, she still manages to drive all that way to catch our gigs. She is very supportive of the band and loves our music! Manda, you truly deserve to be fan of the month!! Thank you so much for coming out and seeing us when you can. We appreciate it a lot!! You rock!!!

05/23/09 - We had a great time rockin' out Pov's last night. We would like to thank the staff for having us out once again. Thanks to those of you who stuck around all night rockin' out with us even though it was a slow memorial day weekend. We still had a blast though. Thanks to the sound guy for doing an excellent job on the board. We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to Chris Aloisio for coming back one last time for his official "last show" with Rising! He absolutely rocked out and we were so happy to play with him one last time. Good luck to you Chris and thanks for giving us one hell of a year!!!  We will be back at Pov's June 28th for their first Sunday night party and then in July for a huge night!! 4 bands and we close the night!! Ok, so our next show will be back at The Rock in Maplewood, once again with our new drummer Donny! Kind of  cool this time around as it will be the first half to our back to back "Rising-a-thon!" That's right, The Rock has asked us to play 2 weeks in a row this month and we couldn't be more happy to do it. 5/13/09 - We had a Blast Last Night @ The Rock! We want to thank everyone who came to see us! And Thank Rev Theory for sharing the stage with us. Donny really Kicked Some Ass for his Debut Show! He had 10 Days to Learn Everything, and he worked his Ass off! RISING is Extremely Happy with their New Drummer, and really Excited for our Upcoming Shows! It's gonna be a little confusing, through the next month. We will have a Guest Drummer playing a couple of the shows, while Donny plays out June with Shadow Stone.
